Teflon heat shrinkable tubing manufactured by Holscot provides the ultimate non stick surface for rollers of any diameter. FEP and PFA heat shrinkable tubing are both forms of Teflon that offer the most cost effective and simple way to improve the quality of your end product. All our Teflon heat shrinkable tubing is manufactured in the UK under strict ISO 9001 quality standards. This coupled with our approval by Dupont as a registered applicator enables us to provide Teflon heat shrinkable roller covers to satisfy customers needs for diameters from as little as 20mm up to a maximum of 380mm from a FEP or PFA extrusion. In addition for larger rollers, Holscot proprietary welding techniques enable us to provide Teflon protection to rollers and cylinders no matter what the final diameter.

The elimination of build up from sticky Substances such as adhesives, latex and size means less downtime and less scrap material because of the improvement in end product quality. End users have reported efficiency increases of over 25% when using Teflon heat shrinkable roller covers on their rollers.

The use of Teflon tubing protects the roller surface. The thickness of the sleeve is usually 0.5mm which provides a substantial covering. For longer lasting protection FEP heat shrinkable tubing is also available from extrusions in the following thickness, 0.6mm, 1.0mm and 1.5mm.

Teflon heat shrinkable roller covers can be fitted to rolls of virtually any construction.

The majority of heat shrinkable tubing are supplied in Teflon FEP. However, for higher flexibility and high temperature applications, Teflon PFA heat shrinkable tubing can be supplied in the same range. For high temperature and/or pressure applications we recommend that the sleeves be bonded to the rollers. Holscot will supply the sleeve with a chemically etched inside diameter to allow the sleeve to be bonded.
